Rooted in the System

Sistah in the System is a platform focused on centering the voices, experiences, and power of Black and Brown communities in various forms of public administration navigation, public policy engagement, and civic participation. Situated in the lens of a Black woman living and working in these systems, Sistah in the System is personal and political: a space for truth-telling, empowerment, and action.
 

We truly believe our stories deserve to be shared unfiltered, our voices deserve to shape public policies, and our votes are the baseline for change. Through reflections, resources, and honest conversations, Sistah in the System aims to inform, inspire, and mobilize those wanting to take their rightful place in democracy.
